Generally all the basic detergent can be use so long the detergent is free from additives like
- Softener
- Enyzme
- Bleach/ Whitener
- Anti-bacterial properties
- Dye
- Oils

Generally, a wash routine is  1/4 of detergent from the recommended amount and a rinse - spin cycle.
Sometimes I would add a bit more, say half of rwecommended amount of detergent but I will do an extra rinse cycle ( wash - rinse - rinse/ overflow rinse - spin.)

If you are using a washing machine to wash your CDs, it is recommended to separate covers inside a laundry (mesh) bag. I got two laundry nags from Daiso, medium size. I separate plain covers and pocket covers in one, and AIOs in the other. Inserts wouldn't be needing a laundry (mesh) bag, IMO. You can  use the drier for your inserts but not to your diaper shells because it may damage the PUL

this is really important especially AIOs, hang your diapers in a way that elastics will not be stretched.  you can just lie it flat, just to be on the safe. Pocket covers are generally lighter, and therefore line-drying them would not affect them as much as the AIOs.

Sun-drying is the best way to naturally' bleach the diapers and to take away bad odors.

Happy CD-ing peeps! <3

  1. Hi, how is Pureen HAD compared to the new KiddiWash? It said that the KiddiWash is meant for nappies.
